Gus Katsigianis Gus is our little crazed Greek fishing buddy. With 20 years of fishing and hunting our local areas, a day with Gus will not be forgotten. With his favorite being chasing the river smallies on the French Broad. You'll probably have to remind Gus when it's time to go, he never likes leaving feeding fish. To say Gus is passionate about hunting and fishing is truly an understatement. |

Jake Chiles
Jake is also a native of Asheville North Carolina. Jake grew up fishing with owner Travis Honeycutt. It was Jake’s dad John who taught both Jake and Travis how to fly fish. Needless to say Travis and Jake have spent some time together on a trout stream. Jake attended NC State University, and received a degree in landscape architecture. Jake now runs Southern Creations Landscaping out of Asheville and guides on his days off for Asheville Anglers. Jake is an accomplished fly tier, fly fisherman and smallmouth fisherman. A day on the water with Jake is assured to be a good one. |

Jason Janow
I grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Amherst County Virginia. As a kid my fater taught me to fish in lakes, ponds, and mountain trout streams. Becoming a father myself in the recent years has made me appreciate the outdoors even more. I like to approach a river, stream, or lake with the same enthusiasm as I did when I was 5, and I’m going to have fun doing it. After moving to Western North Carolina in 1999 fly fishing became a huge part of my life. I’ve fished many years in our beautiful rivers here and in East Tennessee and I’m still learning new ones today. Whether I’m with clients or fishing with friends and family its always an adventure to me. Lets go fishing! Note: Jason may be spotted with or without beard! |
