After a phenominal day on the watauga river, Peyton and William decide to try the smallmouth bass on the fly. Lots of rain had most of the french broad river dirty but we found a clear section of water and put the boats in. Not 300yds from the boat ramp William puts a great smallmouth in the net with a popper. It was a tough bite day for the flyrods but still managed to catch quite a few fish with 1 nice fish.
