Asheville Anglers guide Jay Dodd takes David and Cole Rarrick out for another fishing adventure. David has trout fished with us plenty but decided to try the prespawning smallmouth out. Good decison!

March and April are the 2 best months of the year for the prespawned smallmouth around asheville. David and Cole boated around 25 smallmouth and a couple of nice largemouth as well. Most fish were caught jig fishing but they caught a bunch on jerkbaits and flukes. Looks like the fish are getting chasey!
