Cawthorne's back on the SoHo
August 16, 2014 by Travis Honeycutt
Asheville fly fishing guide, Travis Honeycutt, takes another successful trip on the South Holston River. Rich Cawthorne, and his son Chad have fished with Travis for 5 years now. They always do at least one annual summer trip. And these guys are fishy. We always seem to catch plenty, and a few good ones every trip. We waded the south holston and had to fish pretty small bugs but we fooled plenty of beautiful wild fish. Even got to do some great sight fishing, and just all around another great day on the water with great people! If interested in summer time wade trips, book a full day in east tennessee and you wont be disappointed. Our tailwater fisheries are consistent all through the summer months unlike our creeks around asheville. So take the guides advice and head over the mountain, and simply catch em!
